Snipjar lives in your menu bar and quietly saves what you copy — text, links, images, and colors — so you can search back through your history instead of losing everything but your last copy. Summon it with a global keyboard shortcut, click any item to copy it back, and pin the things you reach for constantly.
Everything is stored on your Mac. Pro users can optionally turn on iCloud sync to share history across their own Macs.

Snipjar does not require an account and never asks for personal information. Your clipboard history and snippets are stored locally on your Mac. We operate no servers and never see or receive your data.
If you're a Pro user and turn on iCloud sync, your clipboard history and snippets are synced between your own Macs using Apple's CloudKit, inside your personal iCloud account. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple and is never accessible to us.
Snipjar automatically skips saving anything copied from apps (such as password managers) that mark their clipboard content as concealed or transient.
If you enable the optional "Auto-paste" setting, Snipjar will ask for Accessibility permission so it can simulate a paste keystroke into the app you're using. This permission is used only to send that keystroke and for nothing else. You can revoke it anytime in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
Snipjar Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see your payment information.
Snipjar contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Snipjar is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
